My First Dresser Redo!

Wanted to share with you my first dresser redo!!  So much fun but took a little time.  Trey actually picked this dresser up for me on his way back from Spartanburg about a month ago and it has been sitting in the garage just being stared at by me.  So about a week ago I decided it was time to get started.

Here's the before pic - as you can see it needs a little TLC.

In its day there was a mirror that went with it...couldn't decide whether to leave the little boxes on top or not, but ultimately decided to take them off - which resulted in much sanding afterwards.  At this point I wasn't sure if this was the right decision.

But after alot of sanding you can start to see the potential:)

More sanding was done, then decided it was time to start painting.

A little distressing and some new hardware.

Last coat of stain on the top.  Can you believe that's the same top?!!!

I LOVE IT!!  I've got to get Trey to work a little on the drawers so they pull out better and off to re-Runs it goes!!

Actually went the other day to change things up a little...and add a couple of more things.

  2. Hey Girl - Thanks! It is 31 inches in height... I think it would work - it would be super cute as a changing table. Congrats to you & Randy! Baby Julia is a cutie pie and I love her name:) Hope you are doing well! Trey is going to work on the drawers today and then it will be ready for a new home:)
